From Discontent to Discovery: My Late-Life Awakening

Growing up, I couldn’t ignore the unhappiness that seemed to surround me. From family members complaining about unfulfilling jobs to neighbors lamenting their stalled dreams, it felt like everyone was stuck in a negative loop. I remember thinking, “There must be a better way to live.”

 

Fast-forward decades later—I was in my 60s and realized I still had time to make a change. This realization became my late-life awakening. If you’re over 40, 50, or even 60, and you’re thinking it’s too late to pivot from employee to entrepreneur, allow me to share my journey and show you why it’s never too late.

The Early Signs of Discontent

I’d always been an observant person. Even as a child, I noticed that grown-ups grumbled about everything from minor inconveniences to major life decisions. This negativity shaped my internal narrative, but a small voice inside insisted there had to be something more.
